About Us

We are just minutes from Downtown Canton, and a short 20 minutes from Belden Village and Alliance. The Community Center is located on a State highway. 

There is plenty of FREE parking on paved lots, and the center is completely handicapped accessible.

Activities

Our facility is home to many regularly held events and functions that are open to the public. (fees listed with each event)

Senior Flex - FREE Exercise for Seniors.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays  9 - 10 AM
Exercise with you in mind. All seniors welcome.
(NOTE: No Class on Senior Social Wednesdays)

Senior Social - 2nd Wednesday each Month
Program at 10:30 AM; Lunch* at 11:30 AM followed by BINGO, Cards and Socializing

Blood Pressure Screenings 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
2nd Wednesday every month (same day as Senior
    Social)
Anyone can stop by! You don't need to attend the Senior Social.

Line Dance Lessons - Mondays
$5.00 per person Come early, stay late!
New participants ALWAYS welcome. Even if you're a
    beginner, you're still welcome to stay for the
    evening!
7:00 to 8:00 PM Beginner Hour
    All ages welcome! Seniors and first-timers will
   appreciate the slow dance instruction. Learn fun
   party dances and popular country dances
8:00 to 9:00 PM Intermediate Lessons
    Introducing new steps and dances Requests
    honored. Great exercise!
9:00 PM Beginner Partner Lessons
    Students may stay for all classes for one fee.

Admission to dances is ONLY $5.00 per person.
Dances are from 8 to 11 PM.

Membership

Our continued success depends upon the generosity of our community. We receive NO government funding and are NOT a United Way agency. Therefore, we rely on memberships and donations to fund activities.

Directions:

The Foltz Community Center is easy to access from anywhere in Stark County. We're located on State Route 44 (Wood Street) just off of State Route 172.
